Bon Jovi Rocks American Idol???

After a week of American Idol pumping up what a "rocker" Bon Jovi is/was, they failed to deliver when they performed last night. I understand that Bon Jovi was probably marketing their new single off their upcoming album, but I think they missed an opportunity to live up the hype and to let America know that they've still got it.

Instead, they "Made Memories" with this blah-ballad to the soccer-moms of America. And maybe it wasn't such a bad marketing move as all those soccer moms grew up listening to Bon Jovi when they did rock.
